Cube

The DVD of Cube has a commentary that has David Hewlett on it! How cool is that? On the box it said 'director commentary' but he is there too. Sorry, random randomness there. And my 3rd livejournal entry today.

One other thing. Been worrying Sky would stop showing Atlantis for ages over Christmas, but it's just one week it's not on for! And we get to see The Eye before it breaks! Yay! No agonising weeks-long wait for the conclusion of the cliff-hanger for us!

Christmas...

I know what I can ask for for Christmas...Nothing!
No, not actually nothing! I mean the film 'Nothing' It's apparently released on December 7th. In Canada. Not a major problem, because I've ordered stuff from the Amazon.com before, and I don't anticipate it being much different from Amazon.ca. Thing is, I hate pre-ordering stuff. What if they put the release date back? Well, it'd suck, but it'd mean I got it later, right? I hope. But maybe I should wait ‘til the 7th, then tell my mum about it after having checked that it says 'now available' That way I'll know what's going on. I'm such a control freak! Or maybe I should just order it myself. I don't know. That's what I hate about this time of year (ha! what a think to hate...getting prezzies! Yeah, hate is too strong a word!) Not being able to do what I want.
One other problem with asking for this. If I put 'Nothing' on my Christmas list, I will suffer endless 'Are you sure there isn't something you want?' jokes!
Watched Cube anyway. It rules. but then I already knew that. I hadn't seen it in 4 years though, so it was good to see it again. And David Hewlett is (of course) incredibly cute in it.

I am thinking of changing my hair style, but I can't think what to do with it! Maybe a more purple shade of purple? The one I use at the moment fades from a sort of purplish black to a sort of purplish brown after I wash it a few times. I'd like a different style, but I want one I won't have to bother about. One I can just wash and leave without bothering with all that styling nonsense. I so could not be arsed with that every day. I take long enough getting ready in a morning as it is!

Random stuff...

Well, I got Jennie's prezzie in town yesterday. And I made her cake. Just iced it today, and my dad's going to decorate it. He's got a cool design in mind. It's her birthday tomorrow. She's going out to her friend's birthday party then. That’s very odd. I mean, her friend's birthday is another day, she just decided to hijack Jen's birthday for her own party. Am I the only one who thinks that's real bad?

I bought Cube yesterday too. I did look at the Stargate DVDs, but they cost £20, so forget that! They're on sale on Amazon at the moment, between £4.97-£6.97, but I don't know if I should get them or not. I mean, what if someone gets me them for my birthday? Not likely, I suppose. And even if they did, they probably wouldn't get *those* ones. But I don't know if I want to risk it. On the other hand, if I don't they might go back up to full price. What a dilemma!

Got a letter from the hospital today, got to make another appointment. I don't see the point, they already established that there's nothing wrong that they can fix or whatever, why don't they just leave it at that? Still, it's something to do, I suppose!

Haven't watched Cube yet. I was going to watch it today, but I have other stuff that technically I should be doing instead. But I'll probably watch it. Then I've got to wrap up Jennie's prezzie and write her card. I was going to make one, but I didn't. Got one in Smiths for an extortionate price. And it says 'congratulations' on it! What's with that? I mean, doesn't it sound a bit like 'congratulations on making it to 18. Now lets see if you can keep alive for another year!' Or does it just seem that way to me? Well, I'd have got a different one, but all the others were pink and girly.
