You know what, I see Alan Frog as an Internet guy. I bet he has some kind of online business that he can operate without going out in the day. I bet he bought that massive, expensive looking vampire book that he gave to Edgar online too. So maybe his claim to have a real life isn't so laughable. Pleanty of people live almost exclusively online...

I am now UTTERLY ENAMOURED with the notion of buying huge books on vampire lore via eBay. Probably his taxidermy business has an online aspect of it too.

Well, there did seem to be an awful lot of half-mutilated animal corpses around - I kind of assumed that if he was just eating them, he'd finish one off and throw it out before starting on a new one. Otherwise that's just wasteful and also quite gross.

*IRL laughter* Nah, he has TiVo and YouTube, he doesn't need to get his jollies from cutting up woodland creatures.

You never know, being a half vampire might have warped him a bit... but yeah, a business kinda makes sense.

Dunno how much you'd make from that kind of thing, since I assume he's drinking the animal blood to keep himself from making a kill, so he's got to be using animals he's caught himself, rather than Mrs Smith's precious Siamese cat that she wants to keep after it died...
