Gah!

I am having so much trouble with this story. I think I need the watch the Thirst again to get in that mode, but I lent all my Lost Boys DVDs to my friend about a month ago and she's still got them. I just don't seem able to write anything decent at the moment, and it's so frustrating!

Also, Edgar as a half vampire is not easy. I mean, the first few moments, horror, panic, that I can get, but then what? When it comes down to the idea of having to live with it for a while, getting used to it. That's where I start having trouble. The thing is, I kind of know what I want to write, it's just mixing in the right blend of emotions and stuff. Alans reaction too. Very tricky.

I'm starting to regret starting this story. Now I feel obligated to finish, and it's a bit beyond my abilities, I think

Aaand now it's time to go back to work. Sigh.

I'm feeling you on this. So many fics, written to a high point, and than suddenly...shiznat. You hit a wall. And the wall hits you back.

You've taken on a very ambitious story. Writing Edgar as a half vampire is a very tricky thing to do, and so far, you've been doing it fantastically well. Take your time! :DDD Obligations are no fun.

Obligated may have been the wrong word, but I'm determined to finish it. If I can just get through this really hard bit I think it'll be okay, for a bit. Well, okay-ish...

I completely agree. There are so many stories I've started I just don't have the energy or the creative capacity to finish. It's mega frustrating and I'm completely empathetic to how you're feeling...

"Devotion" being the prime example.

But you can do it! I know you can! You're incredibly talented and I know all will be good!

I noticed that one hadn't been updated in a while, I was wondering what had hapened to it. Hope you get it back on track soon.

Thanks for the encouragement. I hope I'll get another chapter up soon. The next one is pretty much okay, but I need to get the following one sorted so I know exactly what I can do with the current one, if that makes sense.
