Latest Doctor Who = very good. Though I wish there wasn't this constant idea that doctor+assistant=relationship. It's very boring, and slightly gross. I mean, he's the Doctor, damnit. Yeah I know I've been saying this since this time last year, but it's still true. It's icky.

Anyway, back in the real world, I have found a new place only a half hour's walk from my house. Wandering with Milly, I found a load of fields, hills and woods, complete with pond/mud hole that another dog was using as a swimming pool. I will have to explore further, because this is very interesting, I've lived here for 22 years, and never been there! Not going tomorrow though, I have Lost-Watching plans. My friend Emma is coming round, she has never seen Lost and wants to get into in time for the season 2 UK premiere, so she knows what people are talking about when they discuss it. I don't know how many episodes well have time for, not many though, so if anyone has any advice on which ones to show her, it'd be very appreciated! I was thinking the first few and the last few, but then judging by what happens in season 2, there are a few eps from the middle of season one that might be good choices too. Aagh, too difficult.

My mum bought a new phone today. Well, I say bought, actually it was the opposite. She went into Phones 4 U, and told them about the deal my brother had got on his phone, hoping to get the same one with the same amount of free calls etc for a similar price. She also wanted a GPS system that plugs into the phone, because Mob's got that too, and it's apparently pretty cool. Well, I can't remember the specifics of what she said happened, but basically they gave her the phone and the free calls and texts, and because they didn't sell the GPS system and she wouldn't accept the bloke just telling her a website where she could download something similar, they just gave her £60 out of the till towards buying it somewhere else. So basically, she didn't pay a penny, and walked out with a phone and 60 quid cash in hand. She reckons they were desperate to hit some monthly sales target and it was probably worth paying her to take the phone to get some bonus or something. Very cool!

I know what you mean about living somewhere 20 odd years and not realising that a certain place exists - I'm the same - we've lived here over 20 years and I don't know what the street's two blocks away are called... :)

Street names, aaagh! Yesterday someone told me the name of a street where she used to live, I said where's that. Turns out it's five minute's walk from my house. LOL!
