Reobsessed

I'm following my tradition of developing a tv obsession every time I'm home alone for any length of time. This time it's Monk. Again. My last Monk obsession was over a year ago, and now it's back. I even bought a book. My Monk Goes to the Firehouse. It's really good, except for a few mistakes. Natalie gets home from a date to find Monk walking out of her kitchen holding a glass of milk? Erm... Monk's scared of Milk, everyone knows that! And I could be wrong, but I don't remember anyone ever mentioning that he has loads of allergies. Also, there's this one bit where Monk refuses a hand wipe from some guy because it's not his usual brand, Wet Ones. I don't think he uses Wet Ones. I'd have noticed because that's what I use. Not that I use them anywhere near as often as Monk or anything. But still, I'm sure it's a different brand.

And then I was watching Mr. Monk and the Class Reunion (the latest episode) last night and it's full of flashbacks to when he first met Trudy. But it shows them meeting at college, but in Mr Monk Goes to the Ballgame he says he was already a cop when they fell in love.

Sorry, I hate inconsistencies.

I think today I'm going to watch something else!

so.. are u still obsessed with monk or have u moved onto something else because of the plot errors :0) im confused, lol

Oh by the way, i never see u on yahoo, u shud use MSN as plenty more of us folk use that, then i can tell u/type to u, why babylon 5 IS the best space sci fi made so far! :0) later

No, I'm still obsessed, I can't control obsessions and choose a new one when something bugs me.

I'm not *just* watching Monk. I'm watching all my usual programs too!
A party would be a very bad idea, there'd be an embarrassingly small number of people round. And the dog would be scared. lol. I would go out, but I'm basking in the home alone-ness. I can go out when the house is full of parents!

I don't really use Yahoo that much any more. I don't use msn either, I used to, and I keep meaning to again, but I've not got around to it for a while. I will one day. Maybe. You won't get much argument from me about Babylon 5 though. Well, maybe it's not the *best* but it's definitely up there.

I hardly use yahoo myself as not many people i know use it, an any that do put msn on instead anyway.
I prefer talkin to people live, well sorta :0) im tryin to get tony to use msn too but with no luck so far, but manicloras on there an so on, so u shud come on an say hi to me and search about for other people u might know too,

No, at the end there's a flashback to them in college and Monk says he loves her then she says she does too. Maybe he was working for the police *while* he was in college...

Not the first mistake, it just stood out becuase I was recently watching Goes to the Ballgame but it bugs me a little when the writers don't check their facts.

Yeah, that must be it. Monk was having a rare moment of inexactness brought on by... erm... thinking about Trudy, and so said it slightly wrong. Or he was lying because it sounded good...

I'll take the flimsiest defense, as long as it makes some kind of sense!
