So, those last six minutes were worth the wait. Avocados at law alone was worth the wait!

So it looks like they're all reasonably happy and still no longer arguing, Fisk may be waiting for a year in jail before he even goes to trial, which might (but probably won't, considering how much backstory they had pumped into him - dude had more backstory than Foggy and that's just unfair) put him out of action in the next series. No doubt something else will go hideously wrong by the time 201 hits, but for now things are relatively calm and normal, which is the perfect backdrop for all kinds of fanfic. Thank goodness they didn't leave us with a nasty cliffhanger.

Yes, sometimes it is a relief to end a season on such a positive note. Besides, I think we deserved it ;)

To be honest, maybe even more than Fisk finally getting his due (although I do hope we get to see more of him in season two, he's such a great villain), what I was hoping for was for Matt and Foggy to reconcile... seeing them back together, seeing them as Nelson-and-Murdock again was delightful :) And the three of them looked so happy by the end, it was overdue after everything they'd gone through!

Yeah, after the emotional roller coaster that was the entire season, I think it needed to end on a happy. I'd have been disappointed if not! I agree totally about them reconciling, that was all I wanted, it was necessary for the happy!

I'm almost certain Fisk will be back in season 2. I can't imagine they'd spend so much time giving him backstory if he was just going to be done with at the end of the first season. And of course his girlfriend is still out there and I know she hasn't done anything wrong yet, but I can definitely imagine that he has corrupted her enough for her to be working to get him out of jail illegally or possibly even to take over his place and work with his people to continue his plans... I like to speculate on random stuff though, and I'm rarely right!
