I've got a job interview!

Okay, so it's miles away and I'd need to take two busses, and I don't know it it's something I want to do anyway (admin assistant), but this at least proves I'm not completely hopeless. Of course, I will bodge up in the interview. I'm not so good with talking to poeple! But that's okay, maybe I don't want the job anyway. I might be better off doing this New Deal thing, I might get a better job that way. Or at least one closer to home... Ah well, I'll just see what happens.

Oh damn. This means I'm going to have to answer a bunch of really stupid questions. And... make eye contact and everything!

Hey don't be like that. Darn it you can do anything you put your mind to just be confident in yourself. Go in there and make the best of it. Smile :-D You'll only bodge up the interview if you believe you'll bodge up the interview. If it helps, practice with someone. My Mum and I did it before I had a major interview once, she made up a load of questions and just asked me them and I answered. It helps build your confidence.

Confidence, eh? I could do with some of that! I don't think I have anyone to practise on though! Ugh, I hate interviews! So much stuff to do, and not do... and that question about 'what are your faults?' that always crops up. I never know whether I should be honest! :D

Yes. Checkout work, but better than nothing. I work in a cafe now, and that is brilliant.

Just think of them as being naked. You'll do fine. Remember, you are *exactly* the right person for them to hire. No doubts. They'd be nuts not to hire you.

Hee! That naked thing had never worked for me, I'm scared that if it did, I'd not be able to keep a straight face!

Yeah, they so need me. They need someone to take care of all the... erm, the... the sci fi quotes! Yep, every office needs that! :-D
