It appears to have been ages since I posted an entry. Oops. I don't know how that happened. Just nothing too interesting going on, I guess. I go to work, I go home, I watch TV shows I've already seen and go to bed. Ah well.

I was supposed to be going to the cinema today to see Sixty Six, but my friend canceled. Probably a good thing, thinking about it, because I do have to get my assessment done for my creative writing course. I have to hand it in a week today and I haven't even started. I don't even know what it is that I'm going to write about. So that's my plan for the day. Wish me luck! Or give me ideas, if you want! ;-)

the panopticon is a building designed to observe its inhabitants, its a circular tower of floors like a tower block but with a hollow central shaft, the central shaft containes a tower also of sloors parallel to the floors of the main building, the floors of the main building are exposed to this central tower so they can bee seen into clearly, but the central tower is like a duck blind and u cannot see the observers.
It was designed to be used as a insane asylum, prison,, workplace, school, to control behaviour, modern open plan glass office blocks are actually much like this design.
The same sociologist also explained that schools, prisons, barracks, and some work places are already much like this in life anyway, and very regimented so as to fashion and control the populace. so, the building is considered a machine of control and modification of behaviour
