Monday, 25 June 2007 14:25I thought the rain that made me late for work the other week was bad, but this is just insane. The tenfoot is flooded, the water has knocked the bin over, which means the bin men wouldn't empty it, there is nearly four inches of water in the garage, so we've had to shut off the electricity out there, and the water is slowly creeping up the garden towards the house. The bottom of the garden has maybe three inches of water. Milly keeps going out there to paddle. Luckily, it shouldn't get in the house because there's a step up to get inside. Another hour or so and the whole garden's going to be flooded though.

Wednesday, 16 August 2006 01:57I got back from work today at about eleven. With everyone else on holiday, I'd had to leave Milly locked in the kitchen since I left at around 5. When I got back and let her out, she charged at me, tail wagging, whimpering, shaking. Poor thing. I think she thought she'd been abandoned or something. She followed me around the house for ages after, too. Although that may have had something to do with the Pringles I was eating.
I'm going to have to abandon her tomorrow too, and for even longer on Friday and Saturday, and maybe Sunday. I feel really mean.

Tuesday, 4 July 2006 15:00I'm loving this weather! And I got paid the other day, which makes stuff even better. So yay! For once, I'm in a great mood. Also, I spent all last night customising my desktop and Mozilla, Def Leppard themes all round! Why? Well I kinda felt like it... Okay so I pretty much just downloaded already made themes and changed them a bit, but I think I might do my own when I can be bothered. That'll be fun. Working 6-10 today, so I get to enjoy the sunshine first. Milly's not loving it quite as much though, the poor dog is just laying around the house looking too hot.
